1. Who we are
Summit Client Services LLC ("Summit", "we") is a small AI consulting company in Plymouth, Michigan, USA. This page explains what we collect when you use summitclientservices.com, write to us, or message us, and what we do with it. Questions about it go to bruno@summitclientservices.com.
2. What we collect
Only what you type or send to us yourself:
| Where | What |
|---|---|
| Contact form | Your name, email, company, what you need, and your message. |
| Book-a-call questions | Your name, email, company, role, revenue band, timeline, and how you heard of us. |
| AI Readiness Assessment | Your answers and your score. To get the PDF report: your business name, work email and phone (all three are needed). Your answers and score are saved when you ask for the PDF or a call. |
| Free guide requests | Your first name, your email, and the tag in the link that brought you. |
| Booking a call | Your name, email, company, and the time you pick, on our Google booking page. |
| Email, Instagram or LinkedIn messages | What you write to us, and your name or handle on that service. |
| Visiting the site | Our web host sees the technical details every web server sees (IP address, browser type, the page asked for). Our visit counter, PostHog, sees which pages you open, what you click, which site or link brought you, and which steps of our forms you finish. Cookies only if you press OK; then Meta also learns which pages you open (section 5). The site also keeps 3 settings in your own browser: sound on or off, whether you have seen the sound hint, and the reading mode you picked on the home page. They never leave your device. |
3. How we use it
- To send what you asked for: a guide, an answer, a call.
- To follow up about your request. If a form starts a short series of emails, it says so next to the button.
- To keep one record per person in our own contact sheet, so we know who asked for what and when, and who asked us to stop.
- To see which pages help, which links bring people, and where people stop on a form, so we can make the site better.
- To keep the site and its forms working and free of spam.
We use your details because you asked us to, and to run and protect the site.
4. Who holds it
We use a few service providers. They hold your details for us and use them only to run their service:
- Netlify: hosts this site and stores form entries.
- Google (Google Workspace): our email, calendar and booking page, and Sheets and Apps Script, where we keep our contact list and run the assessment form.
- Anthropic: an AI service that helps us read and answer emails you send us.
- Meta (Instagram) and ManyChat: hold Instagram messages, if you message us there. If you press OK on our cookie notice, Meta also gets the pages you open on this site, to measure our ads (section 5).
- LinkedIn: holds LinkedIn messages, if you message us there.
- PostHog: counts visits, clicks and form steps on this site (section 5).
We share information with anyone else only if the law requires it.
5. Cookies and visit counts
We use PostHog to learn which pages help and where our visitors come from, and the Meta pixel to see if our ads on Facebook and Instagram work. A small notice at the bottom of the screen asks you once: OK or No thanks.
- If you press OK: PostHog sets a cookie (its name starts with
ph_) and keeps the same details in your browser's storage, so it knows when you come back. They last 12 months. If you then give us your email on one of our forms, PostHog links your earlier visits to that email. - Meta pixel, only if you press OK: your browser loads Meta's pixel. It tells Meta which pages of this site you open, with your IP address and browser details, and sets cookies: one whose name starts with
_fbp, and, if you came from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, one whose name starts with_fbc. Each lasts 90 days. If you are signed in to Facebook or Instagram in the same browser, Meta can link the visit to your account. Meta uses this to measure our ads and may use it for its own ads, under the Meta Privacy Policy. We never send your email or form answers to Meta. - If you press No thanks, or do not choose: no cookie is set, and your browser keeps only your No (and the 3 site settings in section 2). PostHog still counts the visit without knowing who you are: it makes a code from your IP address and browser that changes every day. Your email never goes to PostHog. Nothing goes to Meta.
- What PostHog sees: the pages you open, what you click (not what you type), the site or link that brought you (including tags in the link, like
?src=orutm_), your browser and device type, your rough location from your IP address, and which steps of our forms you finish. - No screen recordings. PostHog keeps this data for 12 months.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, nothing goes to Meta, even if you press OK.
- To change your mind: clear this site's cookies and data in your browser, and the notice asks again. To delete what PostHog holds about you, write to us (section 10). For what Meta holds, use your Facebook or Instagram settings, or Meta's Privacy Policy.
6. What we do not do
- We do not sell your information.
- We share it for advertising in one case only: if you press OK on our cookie notice, the Meta pixel tells Meta which pages you open (section 5). California law calls this "sharing". Press No thanks, or turn on Global Privacy Control, and nothing is shared.
- We never give Meta or any other ad company your email, phone or form answers. The only other companies the site sends visit details to are PostHog (counts) and Meta (after OK only), both in section 5.
7. Emails and how to stop them
Every follow-up or sales email from us has a stop link. One click stops them, with no login. You can also reply "stop" or write to bruno@summitclientservices.com. After you stop, we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list, only so we never email you again.
8. How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Form entries at our web host | Until we delete them by hand, once a month |
| Visit counts, clicks and form steps at PostHog (and your email there, if you pressed OK and gave it) | 12 months |
| The Meta pixel cookies in your browser (only if you pressed OK) | 90 days. What Meta keeps: under Meta's own rules |
| Your record in our contact sheet, emails, bookings, assessment answers and messages | 24 months after we last heard from you, unless you become a client |
| The do-not-contact list | For good, with only your email, the date and how you asked |
9. Where it is stored and how we protect it
We are in the United States, and the services above store your information in the United States. If you write to us from another country, your information comes here. Only the people at Summit who need it can see it. No method is perfect, so please do not send us passwords, bank details or health information.
10. Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Write to bruno@summitclientservices.com from the address you gave us. We answer within 30 days. California and other US state residents have the same rights. Deleting removes you from everything above except the do-not-contact list. That includes deleting your person record in PostHog, if you pressed OK. We never send Meta your email, so we cannot find or delete your visits there. To see or delete what Meta holds, use your Facebook or Instagram settings.
11. Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, write to us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this page
If we change what we collect or who holds it, we update this page and the date at the top first.
